Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a great honor for me to bring to your attention some information about the Institute of Energy Audit and Energy Carrier Accounting. This Institute was established in order to solve urgent problems in energy audit, energy carrier accounting, energy saving and efficiency in Ukraine.
The scientists and engineers of the Institute are competent to do research on solving the above-mentioned problems, to accomplish specific tasks concerning energy audit and development of preliminary design solutions with the corresponding Feasibility Study Reports, and to develop and implement projects.
Especially, I would like to mention that our Institute is doing works on improvement of accuracy of energy carrier accounting (natural gas in particular), on energy audit of metering units and on development of a normative and technical base for accounting: standards, measurement techniques, systems of flow-meter automated design etc. Our specialists reveal causes of unbalances in energy carrier accounting and develop measures to reduce the unbalances.
At present the Design Department of the Institute is designing automobile gas-filling compressor stations and other construction objects.
The Institute is starting its educational activities by offering trainings and extension courses for engineers. The syllabuses on new Standards and other normative documentation, on automated systems for calculation and design of pressure differential flow meters have already been developed and lectured at the Institute.
The publishing activity is underway. Monographs, manuals and other methodical materials on the Institute activities are being prepared and published.
